1. Open the valve of the air pipeline connected to the Hydraulic Power Tongs

2. Start the oil pump and close the one-way air valve to make the oil pump run under no-load conditions. The pressure of the system pressure gauge should not exceed 15MPa for normal operation.

3. After checking that the size of the tong head jaw plate matches the size of the drill pipe joint, turn the two positioning handles on the tong head to the corresponding position according to the buckle or buckle.

4. Operate the two-way air valve of the transfer cylinder to send the tong to the wellhead in a balanced manner. It is strictly forbidden to close the air valve to the bottom at once to make the tong move quickly to the wellhead and cause collision. If the tong height is not appropriate, operate the hand chain hoist to adjust it to the appropriate position.

5. After the tong is sent to the wellhead and the drill pipe enters the Hydraulic Power Tongs through the gap, observe whether the upper and lower plug screws of the tong head are in contact with the male and female joints of the drill pipe, then operate the two-way air valve of the clamping cylinder to clamp the lower tong joint, put the two-way air valve of the transfer cylinder to zero position, and release the air.

6. According to the needs of buckling and unbuckling, the high and low gear two-way air valves are turned to the corresponding positions, and the gear can be changed without stopping during use.

7. The forward and reverse rotation of the motor is realized by the M-type manual reversing valve, and the handle position is changed according to the needs of buckling and unbuckling.

8. Reset: It is the process of aligning the notches of the tongs with each other. When a buckle is put on or unbuckled, the M-type manual reversing valve must be operated to make the tong head rotate in the opposite direction to the working state. When resetting, the shifting two-way air valve can be operated according to the distance between the notches, and the high and low gear conversion method is used to achieve it. When resetting at high speed, the M-type manual reversing valve should be used as little as possible, and the two-way air valve should be used skillfully to reduce inertial impact.

9. When unbuckling, when all the pins are unscrewed from the box (that is, the drill bit is reversed 5 and a half turns or the sound of the drill bit falling after being unloaded is heard), the two-way air valve can be rotated to the buckle direction to reset. When the drill bit is loosened on the tong and the notch is not aligned, it is also allowed to stop and lift the stand, and continue to reset after lifting the stand, which saves time.

10. Do not lift the pin before it is completely unscrewed from the box to prevent slipping and drilling. It is not allowed to lift the upper tong before it is released from the drilling tool, so as not to lift the floating part of the tong head or the drilling tool will fall and damage the machine parts.

11. Operate the two-way air valve of the clamping cylinder to the opposite position of the working position to restore the lower tong to zero and align it with the notch.

12. Operate the two-way air valve of the transfer cylinder to use the right tong to leave the wellhead smoothly.

13. After all the lifting or drilling is completed, reset all the liquid and gas valves to zero, turn the one-way valve to the closed position, and stop the pump. Close the gas valve in the direction of the drilling rig to cut off the gas line.

14. The liquid and gas pipeline joints should be closed during relocation to prevent dirt from entering the pipeline.

15. The position of the positioning handle of the upper and lower tongs is determined according to the requirements of buckling or unbuckling. However, when changing the position, the notches of the tong head must be aligned before operation, otherwise the mechanism will fail.

16. Operation tips: The tong must be delivered to the end, the lower tong is clamped and the tong head is turned, the upper and lower tongs are aligned with the notch after the upper and lower tongs are unfastened, and the lower tongs are released and moved back.
